SCRAMBLE Parkour
Rules of play

We strive to provide a safe and clean environment within Scramble Parkour for all guests. To help us do this, we ask parents, guardians, and participants to follow the rules on this page. These rules apply to Scramble Parkour; if you are looking for Scramble Indoor Play rules, click here.

RULES FOR PARENTS & GUARDIANS

It is your responsibility to supervise your children at Scramble Parkour. We require a maximum ratio of one adult for every ten children age 5-12, and one adult for every five children 4 and under. While a child aged 13-18 does not need a supervisory adult on premises, a responsible adult is required to first sign a waiver acknowledging they accept responsibility for the safety of that child.

As a parent or guardian, you must:

  • Sign a waiver before your children can enter the play areas.
  • Remain within the building while your children aged 12 and under are playing.
  • Observe your children to ensure they are using the play activities safely.
  • Explain the Safety Rules to your children and monitor their behavior.
  • Report unsafe play by children other than your own to Scramble staff.

SAFETY Rules FOR CHILDREN

Parents and guardians, please make sure your children are following these rules:

  • Special grip socks provided by Scramble must be worn to play in all areas at Scramble Parkour except for Upper J Street.
  • Clean athletic shoes must be worn to play in the Upper J Street area. No sandals or heeled shoes will be allowed.
  • No shoes or bare feet are allowed in other play areas.
  • Arms and legs should be covered when using the equipment.
  • Remove jewelry, badges, pins, and any other sharp objects.
  • Scramble Parkour activities are physically demanding and require a degree of strength, agility, and stamina. All participants must be reasonably fit, in good health and free from any adverse medical condition. Participants are advised to use the activity gym and its obstacles within their ability. If you are unsure as to whether you can complete a maneuver, you should not attempt it. If participants have medical concerns they are advised to consult their doctor before attending. Participants will be required to certify in the Scramble Parkour waiver that, to the best of their knowledge, they do not suffer from any medical condition or other reason which may prevent them from participating in any of the activities or which would make it more likely that they would be involved in an incident which could result in injury to themselves or others. For clarity, people who are pregnant, have a heart condition, or are wearing any form of plaster cast are not allowed to participate in Scramble Parkour activities.

THINGS THAT ARE NOT ALLOWED

For the safety and enjoyment of all, Scramble has these restrictions in place:

  • No face paint.
  • No climbing on the safety nets.
  • No smoking, vaping, or equivalent systems.
  • No firearms or knives of any sort.
  • No chewing gum, bubble gum, or other gum-like candy.
  • No food, drink, or glassware is allowed in the play areas.
  • No flash photography is allowed in infant play areas or Upper J Street section.
  • No pets. We welcome service animals accompanied by their owners. Service animals should wear protective covers over their feet when in the play areas. Scramble will help owners with service animals enjoy the play activities. This may mean we have to change the way in which some play activities are used for short periods.

ADDITIONAL RULES OF PLAY

  • Scramble reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without further explanation, to refuse entry to any person or family.
  • Scramble has a 3-strike policy: on strikes one and two the child will be asked to return to their family, and the responsible parent or guardian will be told that redirection is required. On strike three, the family will be required to leave. No refund will be due.
  • Scramble is a family entertainment center. Inappropriate behavior will not be allowed.
  • Do not bring unwell children to Scramble. Scramble will ask families with ill children to leave – a free entry voucher will be issued for a future visit.
  • No outside food or drink is allowed inside Scramble except by prior arrangement, such as food necessary for a medical reason.
  • Items brought inside Scramble are done at your own risk. No liability will be accepted for loss, damage, or theft of items inside Scramble.
  • Scramble does not discriminate in any way and does not allow any discrimination by guests using Scramble. All guests will be treated equally and with respect.
  • Any threats to Scramble staff will not be accepted. Scramble will prosecute any person who mistreats a member of staff to the fullest possible extent. That person and family will be prohibited from returning to Scramble.
